Not sure what you mean by "tiling" but in most other areas I totally agree with all your pointed out mistakes. Some where oversights, others happened because I just said "fuck it". Yet others are possibly a byproduct of the schizophrenic process I used to draw this.

I believe he means some areas appear as if they were peiced with tiles which did'nt fit perfectly together.
Amazing work by the way.  :o

I like your new tiles. But let me just suggest that on the original, the problem I saw was that there should have been darkening on blades of grass furthest from the viewer. That gradient would have (I think) given it the right visual weight and increased realism.

Always open to new ideas, Not sure If I like the result however.

I think I've fixed the stlye issues on the grass now. Also, I added my transition tiles...

I am moving on now, thanks for the help.  :)

I suppose I should have clarified the grass does'nt meet the dirt like that, I have transition tiles. I just put the dirt next to it to compare the dirt tiles to the grass tiles, so you can clearly see the style change, which is my main concern.

I was working on some sidescroller tiles and the grass I created really bothered me, I think it might stand out to much. I am concerned it Isn't stylisticly the same as my dirt tiles to the left of it. I am also concerned it might be too busy and blurry.. So I was wondering if you guys think I should redo it or just move on with the other tiles. If I do redo it, should I try a different style, something more simple?   :-\   ???
