Hi all,

I am looking to hire another pixel artist for the project first advertised in this post https://pixelation.org/index.php?topic=39146.msg216587#msg216587.

My team and I are developing an isometric fantasy RPG in Unity with turn-based/'tactics' combat, and are looking to hire a pixel artist to handle all kinds of visual effects (sword slashes, hit effects, blood, magic spells, fire, explosions, etc). If you are interested, please contact me by PM with portfolios/samples of relevant work and we can discuss in greater detail.

About the job:
Freelance
Open to experienced and new artists
Long-term, low weekly hours, very flexible, no tight deadlines
Hourly rate negotiable in light of experience, efficiency, quality of work, etc.  ($15-30/h)

This position has been filled.

Hello,

My name is Mike and I am part of a small team from Ontario, Canada currently working on a 2D, isometric, fantasy RPG in Unity. We are looking for a pixel artist to do environment and/or character sprites. Following is a brief breakdown of the job and project. Please contact me by PM if you are interested and we can discuss it in greater detail.

About the job:
  • Freelance
  • Open to experienced and new artists
  • Long-term, low weekly hours, very flexible, no tight deadlines
  • Hourly rate negotiable in light of experience, efficiency, quality of work, etc.  ($15-50/h)

About the art needed:
  • Isometric perspective
  • Open to different styles, but looking for something fairly detailed
  • Environment sprites: Ground tiles (64x32), objects/props, buildings, etc.
  • Character sprites: animations, equipment, enemies, etc.

What we are looking for in a candidate:
  • Your portfolio includes work that pertains to some aspect of our project (fantasy, isometric, etc.), or you are willing to submit a sample (will pay)
  • Outstanding art: the game being a story-driven 2D RPG, we want the art to be a selling point
  • Good English, professional, active communicator
  • Interest in forming long-term working relationship

About us:
  • Hobbyist web and game devs
  • Experience hiring freelancers for various projects (for risk-averse artists: if you have an upwork account, I can provide a link to freelancers’ reviews of us and how much we’ve paid out. We have a perfect 5-star client rating and have paid out over 15000 USD.)

Thanks for reading.
