Pixel Art / Very Small, Very Rough Robot
« on: July 11, 2009, 09:38:37 pm »

Just wondering what I could do, made it in about a minute.  I need an idea for some sort of chest detail, and I need to fix the lighting quite a bit.  His right arm is supposed to be a shield, while the left is a pincer type gun.  The shield is garbage, I'm aware.

Maybe add a bushy beard to the scientist, or at least make him less main-actor-like by modifying the jaw, haircut and eye-expression.
You need to play more half life.

There is no shading on the skin of the face, and let me be the first of many to say that your face just creeps me the shit out.

Try and get a better translator, or find a Chinese forum for spriting, because I don't think that your translator will put any criticism we try to say into anything but very broken Chinese.

Most handguns don't have hammers, and I see what you mean about the lasersight being at 45 degrees, but if I put it a few off, it would throw off the gradient and I don't think it would look as good.  Maybe I should continue on this.  And yeah, for the record, the handle and trigger I think look pretty bad.

It looks alright, other than that the face is perfectly mirrored.
