This is comic style - you can go on in this direction further (contour line, flat picture), but if you want more volume then need more analysis in shadow and light.

Thanks for the edit but I modified it a little bit.. How is it now? And can anybody teach me how to animate a front view walking cycle?

That really made sense to me and I think I'm starting to get it. I know this is a stupid question but how do I know How many colors am I using? (60 or 16 I'm not sure how to determine that probably because I'm using photoshop CS)

No I am not working for them and I think they are dead. I borrowed their base though (front view). But I used to go there and pixel for fun. And actually I started pixelling when I gave it a try back in dec 2005 (in narutorealm) but I never really practiced it a year straight, I just pixel if I have free time (summer break and christmas break).

So what do you all think? Am I headed in the right direction? Or should I try again?

And how do you guys come up with the shades your gonna use? How will I know how much green or blue should I have to make a darker shade of white for instance?

Thanks man and what a very nice edit you made!! I understand what you are trying to say but I made this from scratch and when I do that I usually have errors in shading and yeah banding. Thank you very much for the tip!! And one more thing... can you pls tell me what should I try to pixel or practice (objects) for me to avoid errors like these.
