Title: Pixeling Curves
Post by: Pawsofthepanda on November 26, 2009, 06:14:40 pm
I'm painfully aware of the n00b-factor of this question. The reason I will keep this kinda short is not cause I'm lazy and didn't bother to search. It's because I bet this question been asked before and I just failed to use the search function correctly. So, that said I'm looking for info on how to pixel different types of curves. I tried a little but the results came out jaggy or not like the curve I wanted and so on. Any links? :)

There was once an anti-alias contest, but my searches have came up with nil... you'd definitely find the posts and entries there of interest, however. Hmm... actually, it wasn't a challenge but it was more of a training exercise.

Feels like I've bookmarked all threads on this board by now haha. Thank you very much for the links, really got me where I wanted, been experimenting more with curves after reading a bit and it really helped me out. I'm not claiming any master title for doing such basic stuff but I'm pretty happy with how the street light in the update turned out after reading up on some curve theories. :D
