This is a robotic leg base for use in a side-scrolling platformer, where you can augment your character with various attachments (such as a helmet (http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php?topic=9187.msg100851), or these new legs). The setting is somewhat Steampunk-ish.
