here's a little adventurer

Something about the torso was bothering me, I took a look at the sprite to see, and did a quick edit (speedo alert!):

His abdomen was a tad too long to me; though since he's clothed, all you really need to do with the sprite is set the belt one or two pixels higher.

Other than that, I love it--nice palette, cute style, and it has some character. Kind of reminds me of Disney's Aladdin.  :)

his belt is supposed to be italic xD, but here's an edit anyway.

nice look. I think the hair in his previous instance gave him more character (the falling one).
About the torso length, i guess moving up the belt slightly above the hands and adjusting legs accordingly should do the trick.
