I would appreciate some CC regarding this shadowy dude. Proportions, pose, placement in terms of composition etc.

Seems like an odd way of holding that spear... I think a better pose (a more im-posing pose..?) would be if he would be holding it straight up, diagonally with the butt of the spear near his feet and the tip somewhere near the small windows of that castle (his arm extended, slightly flexed as to not look too stiff), ooor still diagonally but the butt up and the tip down to the right. But then the tip would most likely be hidden, so the other two would be more appropriate, IMHO.
