Title: Eleckid
Post by: Quake on June 04, 2009, 10:46:40 am
Normally i don't do this but i think it'll help with C+C etc..
Anyway, i've been playing a lot of pokemon diamond and i'd really like to get into some pokemon drawing. (also thanks to Tvyon, which finally inspired me)
I do think the picture is of a screenshot, but i can't really remember since i saw it about a week ago.

I'd really like C+C on how to make the thunderpunch look more like thunder, and anything else you can see i would be grateful  :y:

Hey Quake!

I did a edit on the first one with colours from Ampharos:

New:(http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a18/Johiene/K1-3.gif)  Old:(http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p181/tikeshe/k1-1.png)

I changed the lightnings colour from yellow to blue, to give it a more electric feeling and I don't really think lightning is that dark yellow. Also, to not make it very messy I changed the whole "bolt" so it looks more "controlled", I think the old one looks a lot like a sun or just a flower. The picture got some strange outlines too, so I fixed that by just putting a dark outline on the shaded side and a bit brighter blue outline on the bolt side. I put a blue light too on the left (his right) side to not just make it look more effectfull, but to take away the flatness.

I hope you find this helpfull, tho my crappy english!  ::)

Where'd the contrast go???

Also, you still have that angular shading I mentioned before. Makes his body look pointy.
