I've been making this for a while  :) i'm using only c64 colours currently and i need some help with the first screen, how to make it better and what to add (Any idea ? it's kinda empty now  :lol:)
In the final version tilesets will be scaled to 2x larger and i was also planning to make the plane larger while it's in air so it'll be 4x larger than it's now. Please feel free to give some C&C  :)

When I saw this the first thing that I noticed were the similarities in the grass and water and tarmac tiles.

I know that i used the same pattern maybe too much but it makes a nice retro feeling in it  :lol: but thanks for the tip, i will use it less from now on and change some stuff  :)

That health meter seems too big and in the way of the action.
