Title: Evil Face Avatar [WIP]
Post by: Wuuhuu on March 24, 2009, 04:40:27 pm
Okay, So I posted this at PJ earlier, but they appeared to have not much to say :/ or they were just busy, however, I thought it might catch some attention here.

This is what I've got so far, C&C welcome.

I think with this your AAing could be improved still, 45degree angles shouldn't really be touched like that and places like under the eye could be made to look much rounder.

made a small edit on the eyes and nose, not perfect but you should aim to make it as smooth as possible.

Aye, AA does this wonders. You could try to separate the mouth from the white by tinting them just a wee bit. Also make them darker towards the edges to make it really pop out as 3D, while the rest of the canvas stays super flat. Maybe do the same thing for the eyes? Outline them and use 3-dimensional spheres inside. It'll come out fancy looking when there's eyes and a mouth carved into a flat canvas.

wow, thanks alot for commenting.

I'll try to fix the eyes and the nose.

This is pretty much my first attempt to AA.

@huZba: I do not really understand what you mean, I get the hang of it, but I dont fully understand. I'll try my best.

As if the face was embedded to a wall. Something like this.
