Title: Bird of Paradise

I wanted to do something with pretty colours.

It started as a Illustrator doodle at school, and I thought it would look good in pixel art aswell.
12 colours and I want to keep it that way, max of 16 at the most.

I think the most obvious problem is the head. It's wai too small and the mini toucan beak doesn't match very much.
And the claws (I don't really know how to say this in english so...) are pretty big.

You should bring out the chest a little more and the legs. It would also look cool if the chest would be totally blue/green:

Batlorder, your edit just looks messy.  I much prefer the original.

Also, FrostPumpkin made some very good points that I totally agree with.  Head too small and the claws are messed up.

I do think that bat's edit was just to show what he meant, rather than actually do it for him :}

what's that big strand of fur coming from his back of his head?
Seems to stick out too much, since it's like double the size of the other hair.

i took a much better look, and for me around the bottom of the wing it's really clustered ]:

Tbh, i can't be 100% where the wings ends. I know it's a WIP

I did an edit, and got rid of the bottom part to show you, i think it's better if you do keep it, just make it so you can distinguish it..

All I can say right now is make the head bigger, and the beak thicker.

You just messed it up. That's a lot worse than the original.
And birds don't have fur or hair, they have feathers and some fuzz underneath.

Down, which is just soft fine feathers.

I think FrostPumpkin is most right so far with, reshape head and chest.  If you think his is too cutesy, just don't use the same style or forms instead use a reference of a hawk or eagle.
