Well, the skintones are alright, you've got two pretty much useless colors in there though, the second darkest and the second lightest, you can merge them with the colors most similar. It'd be much easier to crit the actual color choices if this was a finished sprite or scene or something, as the color choices should really be quite dependant on the colors nearby.

lol at Evan. It's only an arm heh. What's an arm. It's a limb of the human body like the legs that allows us to pixel those KOS sprites. Well, it's only an example of my skills on making skin colors.

No offense to ya, but if you really want advice on skintones and whatnot, pixel something tangible, like a figure, or even just a hand. You've found the colors, now use them!

I see three different resolutions in that arm when I zoom in. Why do you do this?

2 resolutions really, heh. It's basically simple. The big one is just for people who want to see it much clearer so hopefully they can crit it.

Which is why, in these forums, you can zoom in on a picture by clicking on it, and consequently, you can zoom out shift-clicking.

That's not what he meant. There are pixels in three different sizes in the large arm. All pixels should be the same size, but they're not.
