Title: FNØKT
Post by: ptoing on January 27, 2006, 09:33:13 pm
New C64 pic which I started in November while i was in Norway at Kindergarden 20005 (yes 3 zeros, sceners are silly like that).
I had to use a mouse and work on a laptop with not a really good screen, but it still worked out nice. Finished the last 10% at home with mine trusty tablet!

Only 14 colours used from the 16 available.

And progress

Have not checked it for mcol errors, but i doubt it has many since it is quite minimalist.

c&c welcome

Awesome! Always loved C64 stuff. Quite impressing anti-aliasing there, I must say... Also, wtf is Fnökt?!

Cool! It's nice to see some really old-school stuff. I've always been a fan of C64, Spectrum and Amiga (although Amiga has fewer limitations than C64 and Spectrum) graphics.

I think I can confirm that "Fnøkt" means nothing at all. After all, I live there, and I've never heard of it O_o (and yes. I looked it up just in case) ;D

Good job on the picture. The inner mouth looks somewhat out of place in my opinion, but it's mostly because the rest of the picture is so well blended at the edges. Maybe add a third colour in there?

Thanks all.

Yeh indeed "fnøkt" means nothing at all. I specifically asked on site Norwegians at the party to confirm this :D

snake: i see what you mean i think, i have to check tho if it's possible. The c64 has quite a few restrictions.
