Just started doodling with pixels again, having not done 'owt since some icons back in the mid 90s, and came up with this face:

I'm not happy with the hair, so if anyone has any hints I'll be more than grateful :)

I just started seriously with pixelling as well, and I declare myself a newbie with lots of problems with palletes anc colour choosing, so, this might be dare, but... I think "your" face needs a more constrated colour choice. I would lower the position and increase a bit the size of the eyes.
