Title: animation software
Post by: balls01 on January 17, 2009, 09:08:01 am
yo-ho-ho

ive been snooping around google for a while for simple easy animation software. like super easy frame1 frame2, this is what that looks like, here save it kind of stuff, none of these special filters or gadgets, or anything like that. i did have MS gif animator, but it had that dither thingy and i didn't want that so i was on the run again. i did have graphics gale but i had to pay to save the things and im not a heavy shopper so i said bugger that and ruled it out.

so i want to ask, how do you animate? what do you use

(i know theres been topics like this and its become a major biatch fight. so please keep it civil. say what you reccomend, tell me what it does and where do i download it)(oh yeah i want it free too please)

I use Microsoft GIF Animator, to get rid of the dithering and those ugly colors I didn't want, I set Import Color Palette to Optimal Palette in the options tab.

I use Graphics Gale to make everything, then I go to File->Export, and export each frame as an individual image. Then any GIF animation software, like UnFreeze, will work.
