Post by: Fuzzyleaves on January 03, 2009, 06:27:43 am
Eyo, I'm fuzzyleaves. 1st post  ::)

Ehm... I was wondering since I'm new here and new with pixel art (i've got some at pj) how would you easily take a painting on a wall, and turn it into a isometric rug on the floor for ex.

basically, you'd need a program that can rotate it 45 degrees, then shrink it's Y dimension 50%

Most programs will automatically filter at least one of those stages, and regardless the result will never be clean.

Not to beat a dead horse with a stick, but I figure I'd provide a quick example for my own amusement.
