Post by: balls01 on November 22, 2008, 11:07:49 am
hey boys and girls

im realtively new to isometric pixeling so yeah im having a stab at it. i decided to do the mystery skateboards word logo-y thing, i had no refercence i started by skewing the word and then used thresh hold then isometricanized it
and this is how it came out

hey thats pretty neat, I'de like to know the steps you took to accomplish that... it only messed up a few things like how it rendered the y's and part of the s was missing and a couple of minor things here and there... but still thats a sweet short-cut.

yeah i noticed the s and put that it like straight away lol

well yeah i got the font thing of google then skewed it into a 2x1 pixel line
then thresh-holded it(my fave filter, its just a little cheat i use for many things ;))
then did the isometric-anating?

progress: im almost done i think but still up for some crits

i see bout the 'y' rendering ill copy the first 'y' because that one seems more right do you think?
also is the 'r' right? in my eyes it looks odd i just cant fix it.
