I can see her nostril in the photo. Why can't I see it in your piece?

Play with those colors a bit. In the photo the shadows are a bit more red/pink and ramp to pale yellows. You have really boring inaccurate skin color.
We can see her upper eyelid and her right (our left) eye.

You don't need to dither right now. Just create blobs and planes. Also keep an EYE on that pillow shading. Which is in her eye.

You have a good reference picture, don't be afraid to keep checking back on it. She's a cute girl the way she is. Don't change that by not referencing it.

P.S. She doesn't have any pure white highlight (from light) in her hair. REFERENCE REFERENCE REFERENCE.

Work on the expression, in the photo she looks happy, in the PA she looks smug or evil.

What you have is a good start, her right eye is too big and you've over simplified the values on her left one. You shouldn't be dithering at such an early stage- while dithering is important because it allows you to manipulate edges, which are important for likenesses and artistic goodness- right now you have to focus on the major planes in the face. Look at what you see in the reference and simplify it into basic shapes of color. Doing this, it might not actually be a good idea to seperate the hair from the face because the hair interacts with it by creating shadows and such. Also you neglected a slight angle of her lips.
Here is a quick edit I did to illustrate:

yeah sorry bit late (my comps rams screwed long sory)

ive already done that part and i already dithered because i was mainly focusing on the hair i didnt really give two rats bout the face coz i wanna practise hair but every1 keeps c+c the face and yeah the anatomy cant be too wrong coz it was traced from the photo, true bout the right(our right) eye it is bit muntey aye i wanted to keep that consistancy with the shade by shade thing

www.ballsart.blogspot.com for the whole reason

Then why do you start drawing a face so elaboratly? It makes no sense at all.
If you wanna practice hair I suggest you just use a faceless ball and put hair on that, like you see in wig shops etc.
And I really do also suggest you practice facial anatomy too. Why do you only want to learn how to draw hair?
Being able to draw a face is much more important then hair.

And another thing: Of course it can be wrong if you trace it. Tracing gets you the lines, but you can still go wrong very easilly on the volumes.

And what's worse: If you wanna focus on the hair, SAY THAT YOU WANT TO!
Ryuamaru's been wasting his time trying to help you out and you say you don't give a rats ass? Way to go man.

Also, I took a look at your site.
You might wanna consider actually making your text a good read.
The zero punctuation idea works good for that game reviewer but it doesn't work for you. Especially if you wanna use it as portfolio, it looks really unproffesional.

Anyway I suggest you fix up your attitude.

Balls01: You also asked for crits on the face in your fist post, and the face is what you kept working on. It's not like you can expect people to give you crits on something you are not doing.

Getting a really nice edit which Ryu put effort in, making valid points about the whole thing, and then you say you don't give two rats. That's pretty disrespectfull I'd say. People are giving you crits out of good will and because they want to help and that's all you have for them, after asking for crits? Sorry, but that's quite assy.

Hence I am giving you a strike and ask you to reconsider your use of the forums.

It's not like you can say something wrong if you are considering what you write for a bit. Just try and don't take crits you get here for granted, no one has to crit you and treat the crits you get with respect.

Apology accepted :]
Your latest update on the hair could use some work- a trick that artists can do to simplify color shapes is to squint, look at your reference picture and squint and you will see that your color shapes aren't as they are in it. Hair is tricky- especially in pixel art of this size, just keep going at it. :]
