Hey guys, I decided to join pixelation because of many reasons, I wanted to expand where I go on the internet. Some of you might know me from TSR, BM, MFGG, etc.
I have also been told this place had the best C+C so, im putting that to the test. For now I have this Ice Cream boss pixelart for a sprite compo, so here it is, any C+C,

I changed the pallet of the cone. And I am REALLY unhappy with the dithering I did on the body. I just have no clue how to texture the ice cream. So can anyone give me ideas on how I can make that better first?

For the ice cream style you're going for, I'd use this as a reference. (just a warning, it's a huge file)

less saturated, bright colors seem appropriate for this piece.

He looks as if hes sitting in a plant pot. Add some cross paterns to convey a cone

The original Monster Munch used two different snack shapes: these related to two of the Monsters used in the advertisements. The shape known as a 'monster paw' that is still used today is based on the eye of the cycloptic yellow monster, with the 'fingers' representing the eyelashes. There was also another shape representing the gangly, long-tongued pink monster: this was circular with two bumps on the top for eyes, protrusions on either side and a tongue dangling down.

I just want to point out that most "Cup" style cones are two tiers, right now your "Ice Cream Monster" looks like Frosty the Snowman sitting in a flower pot.

Maybe you could add some meting area:

Hope I helped a little.
