Title: [Portfolio] Souly/Punky's Portfolio
Post by: Souly on October 21, 2008, 06:17:57 am
I've revamped my portfolio website.
So I thought I'd make a post here.
I'll throw some art in the thread whenever I get around to it, in the meantime clicky the link.

It's nice (I like the way you navigate the page, it's confusing and intuitive at the same time :D You kinda feel you don't know what you're doing but you get where you want to get anyway (:

There's a bit too many clicks to get to the art gallery, though. Future employers will want to be able to see your art as soon as possible - make it easier for them!

(in future revisions, maybe, I'm not telling you to revamp your site)

I liked the older one better. The color helped it. Just black and white kind of hurts the navigation.

But it's still an awesome way to go about things, I just feel the design with the magenta was much more attractive.

I agree with you on the color navigation.
Added some red, should help things.

My info page is still under development, as is my gallery.

Updated my portfolio, added a bunch of artwork and opened up my games section if anyone is bored there is 1 demo and 2 semi-playable game engine tests for anyone who is bored.

Alright, totally revamped my site.
To try and make it more presentable, basically ditched the whole navigation scheme and made it so it could fit more content.
I realized my portfolio was lacking any real information about me.
