Well Hello everyone I have been around here for a while and finally decided that it was time to post some of my work.
I have only been pixeling for around 7 months now and here is what I have to show you which i think is worthy of these forums. :)

Have manged to use 10 colors.
Here is the original which was my first pixel art for any one who is interested.

For the next part of this design i will animate it some how just not sure yet. ???

Well if I didn't read the thread title I probably wouldn't know what this was. Giving it some features of a different color or something else that would stand out would help. Maybe give it a red "eye" like the original? I'm not sure how much this would help, but it looks like it needs something more.

Tbh, I think the original you showed you, had more... of a concept, than the one you've pixeled.
maybe it isn't as nice, but i could clearly see it was a Louse, without looking at the title for reference.
I think the one you've shaded, is too.. "Furry" and not smooth enough for a louse.

umm ok thats i can see what u mean it was just a simply try to see what the outcome would be form simply pixel placement.
