I made this topic for my avatars, now this is currently my avatar that i made quickly ;D Here's the first avatar c&c would be really nice to hear :)

any ideas how can i make desert beter ? it's maybe too bright for night but what can i do ??? i would be thankful for c&c

Needs more contrast between the sky and the Edwardian looking fellow.
Also, look at some pictures of sand/deserts.
and isnt that whole 'batlord' thing a 4chan meam

The glow on that moon is not pixel art. :-\ Also, keep your light sources consistent! The pencil is lit from the side opposite of the moon and the man has no specific light source at all.

I decided to make something else to center of the image and made also some other changes into it too. hope you like it ;D

This image had the best text contrast. The enigmatic-ness of the face details are also nice. What does strike me as odd is the great distance from the glasses to the facial hair; in combination with the largeness of the spectacles, it makes the image feel top-heavy.
A little reworking and it's a keeper. :)
