Title: Gah... Help me. [WIP]

I'm not very good at making pixel art, but I thought i'd try my hand at a golem anyways. And It didn't turn out very well..

I need help with the head, and the lowerbody..

tips and edits are more than welcome.

Reminds me of Regirock (Pokemon.)... Anywho.

I think you should have longer and larger legs. Even if he's all rock, his upper area is massive compared to the tiny stature of his legs. As for his face.: Well, suggest you go something akin for the shoulders or chest, can't suggest much. Nice work though, but try to include some highlights and shadows to deepen the cracks there?

sorry batlorder, but i don't think your edit really takes this piece in a positive direction.
just getting rid of the outlines isn't going to change that it needs some stronger contrast.
i've doodled up something rough to show what i mean:

I agree with Infinity. The Contrast is WOW to say the least. This piece reminds me of Maple Story for some odd reason. But the stand is a little unbalanced. The body and head fit wonderful but the puny legs look like its having trouble holding it up. It might be just be but thats the only thing i can notice at glance.

All I did was edit its right leg to show what I think he meant. Having a wider footbase would give it more stability.

As for the contrast, I put the colors I used in the upper right of the picture, and the first problem I noticed is that the color you've used as the lightest part of the golem may be too close to white.
Instead I used the 2nd shade you used along with the third, and added in 2-3 shades of my own.
