Hello,
I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. The former mainly because before now I've been quite content, painting away on my Mac, hopping between Teal, Pixen and CS2. Pixen's layers -- such a basic notion -- spoiled me quite thoroughly.
An XP-based ThinkPad recently joined my hardware family, and I haven't found a solid Pixen analog for it, yet. Do any exist? Or am I stuck anti-aliasing Photoshop?
Any recommendations will be tremendously appreciated.

Or am I stuck anti-aliasing Photoshop?
there are options in photoshop which remove anti-aliasing. hit ctrl+k to bring of the general preferences and choose nearest neighbor under image interpolation. this turns off the anti-aliasing for some things like rotation.. but most tools also have their own specific settings in the tool settings bar such as the erasor, under mode choose pencil and it will turn off anti-aliasing.
