I think this forum is for me, I'm a long time Amiga Scener who was a big fan of artwork by Danny and Facet from Anarchy/Lemon/Spaceballs fame...in face the logo above reminds me of them.
Does any one still have their artwork and info as to what those guys are upto?

RAYTRACED OFCOURSE

Hey quite nice, didn't know that one. But it definitely cannot catch up with the mother of all Amiga demos: Kefrens "Desert Dream"

EDIT: skurwy: oops, didn't see your post comming. Seems like I do not agree with you ;D
EDIT2: Wow, someone did a C64 version of "Desert Dream". Stunning!

For me, it would be State of the Art as the best Amiga demo, amazing work and then followed up by some work by Sanity with the Einstein graphic in it (forogt the name!).
This also leads me to my next question, can anyone create a pixel logo similar to Facet's work - I've got a paid posting listed (http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php?topic=6457.msg75579).

Arte by Sanity.

Arte is pretty cool ("hail salvadore who has proved that loonies are the only true artists!") but I've never seen it back in the day. Sanity was really something!

well, after watching DD on an old 15" again, I must say I had remembered it to be much more exciting, although it's not a bad prod at all. it's a classic! some of the effects (like the swirling razor for example) still rule! I've never been a fan of the intro part, tho, as it's totally boring!
any ideas of how to run Hardwired on WinUAE? I'm ticking the full ECS chipset but no dice!
btw, I was always wondering whether that part after this 'RAYTRACED OFCOURSE' bit was real-time or was it just an animated gif/mov?
-
I am pretty sure it is just an animation.

I've seen hardwired 2 months ago (under WinUAE) but it depends on the version you are using, whd version or standard disk version
anyway a basic OCS preset should run it!

Although not a technical demo, this is my favourite production to hit the Amiga scene this year, Eric Schwartz's "Still Alive", which he completely animated on his Amiga in 4 colours. I have this on my A1200 and play it when I feel like I need to be inspired.

The facial expressions in that video make my urge to kill rise swiftly. Now I never want to use an Amiga ever, thanks.
-
heheh, it's not that bad after all, but I find the voice a bit irritating. and I wouldn't tell it was made by a guy. :)
I'm not into the latest Amiga releases, so thanks for sharing it, Cammy!

That's quite a shallow way of thinking. So this particular animation style isn't to your liking, doesn't mean the entire platform should be avoided. But suit yourself, you're the one missing out.
