This was an old image I drew then scanned in ages ago and made line art from
(http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/5215/pixelingbo6.png)>>>(http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/2843/revisitedip4.png)
I'm using it in a tutorial for AA and line weight for begginers. what are peoples impressions of the image so far... Still Work In Progress. Areas complete are the eyes, mouth, nose, cheek, jaw and front of neck. Areas that need to be done are the hair, eyebrows, earing and back of neck.

Looks solid enough to me, and your AA and line widths look great. The way her mouth is shaped and positioned it looks like she is hiding something in her mouth, sort of weird. Also there is a bit of optical illusion with her hair over her neck at the base of her skull that makes it look a little like the neck just shoots straight into the back of her jaw there, if that makes any sense. There is one jaggy pixel on the right side of her eye, where the white meets the skintone, that looks slightly out of place to me.
Nice work so far!

The right eye(ours) seems very off. I think it might need to be lowered... and angled more.

Sorry, the area under her ear isn't complete yet, I had just been mucking around with that before I posted :yell:
Thanks for the critiques guys I will see what I can do.

Very nice work!
Is this tutorial online at all? I need help with AA and Line weight as well.

It will be when done, but probably wont be done for a week or 2 due to other stuff I have to do. I will send you the link when I put it up... just hope I remember :P.

Looks very nice, however the white part to the right of her left eye needs AA as well. Her right eye seems out of proportion compared to her left, though..

Nice design and AA! But her right eye (our right) is way too much to the left, maybe because you wanted it between the hairs, but it looks weird
