Wow, seems like a large undertaking. I like the design you've got going atm, and the colours are nice.
One thing that strikes me are the odd perspectives. It's like it's meant to be iso but ...not. If they're sketches i guess it's okay, but then i don't know why you posted them here. The larger piece suffers with perspective a bit. The cave entrance is leant over oddly, but then everything else around it is pretty much flat (especially the horizon...). When put next to the other sketches it's hard to tell what's going on.

I guess i'm just asking for some more info on what this piece is all about and what you're planning on doing with it.

Thanks for the comments Larwick (it's funny how it gets flatter from right to left. I want to improve my perspective).
I don't really know what to say about these but they are sketches so I guess, not 100% pixel art.
I'm basically experimenting. I've done some more in the same style but I've posted them on a more suitable forum.
