Haven't made any stuff lately because of my eye and health problems .. simple old school animation, Black border sprite at 20x20 size <except for the attack>. 18 colors for the first version, then made it down to 12. Is it readable for it's size?

Aw sorry to hear, hope you're feeling better.
I think they look great Froli, does look pretty readable imo. If anything you could have a go at some variations of your palette but nothing serious I recon. Lovely little sprite and attack animation, very Zelda-ish.

This is nice.
I think if his shield moved down 1 pixel in the second frame of the walking animation it might look better.

Thanks Terley :). I'll adjust the palette after I finish up all the character perspectives.
I moved the shield 1 pixel down like EvilEye suggested, and it is better.

These are gorgeous at 1x. I bet they would look amazing on a TV screen. I think the sword is a little over-rendered; it looks a little bit too round. Aside from that it's perfect.

It's not very readable on the dark blue background, but they are very readable regardless.

The sword movement flattens the animation i think cause the pixels are just nudged around. So i suggest you turn or twist it just a little bit like how you did the with the shield.
Looks great otherwise :y:
