Title: MSX palette and restrictions exercise
Post by: ilkke on March 15, 2008, 02:39:02 am
Ptoing talked me into pixeling something within the 'wonderful' MSX restrictions.
Here's what came out

good god haha I'm not an Arnie-like! I don't have nearly as much jaw!  :'(

Honored nonetheless and as to the actual pixelling, this is pretty stylish and cool, nice tints and plays with the color limitations of the system (2 per 8x1 isn't as simple as it might sound) and clean. Perhaps it'll be better to not have ditheraa on the long vertical lines, as this is crisp and not a tv screen to blur them out.

Sorry for any lack of similarity, I was working off a photograph and I tried to capture it's character.
It was great fun and made the restrictions less painful.
