A friend told me about this site so I thought I'd stop by and post a few things
I'm not the best pixel artist, but I'd like to think I'm halfway decent XD

isn't that the ship from One Piece? I'm not very familiar with the series, but the ship is probably not that simplistic.
for something that is probably an important piece (for a game?), why not just draw the thing as a whole rather than use
tiles?

The wooden floors look suspiciously much alike Adarias' ones.

yes, as does the wood wall texture, though it's like a piece that i don't remember putting up anywhere - shipmast texture...that one i could be wrong about. there's also some splatpixel lifts in there as well i believe?
what gets me - what really gets me - is that you didn't even take the best stuff we've done - you went for the mediocre bits. that's either bad taste, or hoping nobody will notice. The funny thing is that even a shitty wooden floor takes enough attention to make that i recognized it even with the small changes in noise and color immediately, without a zoom.
the house is very cute and does not look familiar...
did your friend mention the "only post original art" rule?

Ah yes, I do see some similarity to your work
I Found a pixel art tutorial somewhere online and it gave some instructions on how to make wooden floors and all that (can't remeber where it was though...)
Anyway, sorry about that
