Submitted for a challenge, but still trying to give it the touches it deserves:

It's nice.
I think that the head turn is too much though. I nearly go sick just looking at it. He'd be so disoriented after running like that
that he would see 6 enemies instead of 1 if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I'm also not a fan of the dithering on his back. It looks unpolished and unnescasery. Instead perhaps just add a few more ramps?
Maybe you could make the colours a little more interesting as well.

Looks good, but I think there needs to be more inertia in the extremes; right now it looks jerky and unnatural like in anime cartoons. Think of how a pendulum's acceleration gradually slows as it nears its apex, that's how the joints should be too. You can probably do this by adding extra frames near the joints' apices.

All the frames are damn beautiful by themselves,
I'm having a hard time reading the animation as a whole though.
Here are some crits:
I think there is a frame missing between frame 1 and 2 and a frame between 5 and 6.
The belt is moving around too much.
The staff/stick/pole is moving at an irregular speed, shifting in acceleration, making it twitch.

The far and near leg look like they have the exact same positions, just recoloured, which creates flicker. Make the positions a bit more unique for equivalent frames.
Also, who runs like that, really? It looks like he is powersweeping the floor or something. I have no clue where this turning the head while running thing came from, but it is bugging me to no end. Take a stick, go outside, run a bit and see how you would move. I doubt anything like this.
The actualy pixelart looks good tho.

If he's using the stick as a weapon, he's going to keep it as steady as possible. To reiterate what everyone else is saying, don't swivel his upper body so much, if at all.
