Pixelation

Is there somewhere that is as friendly and helpful as pixelation that critiques drawings/paintings etc?
I would just make art here but I realize that I definitely do not have the base skills required. A lot of the critique on art submitted here seems to stem from this, so i'd like to find a forum to really get advice on drawings before I tackle the pixel. (where despite what I thought, having things smaller does not really help to hide issues)
If anyone has any suggestions of where to go, let me know.

The Pixelation official off-topic creativity thread. You will find the same critique there as on pixels.
You can post anything there that is art realted and doesn't fit into the pixel art section. (Paintings, music, poetry, photography whatever)
Otherwise I think you should give www.conceptart.org
I don't know how harsh they are on new people though.

They are nice, and helpful as well. I posted some uber crap cg art there, and they were very helpful with advice. I guess eatpoo.com is another one as well. But yeah, we can help with traditional artsy fartsy stuff as well...
