My First attempt at pixel art, don't be too harsh.  :ouch: Just some random repeating grass.

Well for a sideview the grass is allright I think. But you could try and define some more, as it is a jagged green stroke now; try to make strains of grass and define their shape with dark and light.

Else you could try and make more around this grass, how would it blend in with other stuff you make. If you'll show more I think the people here would be able to help you better (or maybe its perfect as soona s you make it hah :D)

Harshness incoming!!

This is pretty bad :D  White background, crayola color, very little form, blocky ground with bad striping.  Try to use more organic colors and shapes, think about individual blades of grass and how they might be lit, try working on a mid-tone background, and try spending more than 10 minutes on something!
