Title: Ant (top-down)
Post by: JAS on December 06, 2007, 04:10:16 am
I'll be making some animations for it later, but here is an ant that I made updating some old graphics from an old demo which I, just now, found out is corrupt.

C&C is always welcome.

Real ants have all their legs extending from the midsection, not the thorax. Also your proportions are inconsistant; his head is much bigger on the vertical angles. I guess you could argue that it should be bigger on the south-facing one because of perspective, but then it should also be smaller when he's north-bound.

I did notice that once I put them next to each other.  I agree with the perspective comment.  The one facing north will need to be scaled.  Thanks!
