I think it would look better without the jaggy outlines

not sure if you meant to but the legs (or the arms) are off balance...

they'd make more sense flipped... so the Right (our viewpoint) Leg is out, left leg back...

AA (as mentioned) needs addressing... and I'd maybe push the eggplant color a bit more... it's looking a bit drab atm... I think it need more deep purple...

othe than that... it's an interesting idea... not sure if I'm 100% taken by it though... :S

Aw man, this kicks gangsta's ass.  Lookin' real nice, excellent vegetable selection.  You'd better arm him if he plans to tackle street thugs.

I think you'd benefit from making the washed out palette a little more vibrant in colour. Secondly, make those things you have drawn actually look like hands. Most importantly I think you should make the stalk look more like hair than string because the so called eggplant looks more of a purple tampon to me.

From my experience with eggplant I know it doesn't really have hair. They have leaves (apparently poisonous?) and stems that connect them to the stalk. They seem to very smooth and very not hairy. Didn't really remind me of a purple tampon, kind of rude to say that.

The piece could be more vibrant, I like it's current colors though.
I think it's coming along nicely and think the whole thing reads pretty well and this last edit is pretty dynamic and a good improvement.

So ive started aaing a bit and cleaning up some of the linework. Remixed the colors and did a little reduxion to 16 colors...im not so sure about the vibrantness, i feel more for it when the colors are washed out (perhaps becouse of the lack of shadingskills). Adding a weapon would be nice, a shotgun or a pistol in our left hand perhaps...

To me i don't see how the newer leg placement is better balanced than the first. In fact it seems less so. I can see the guy about to put his foot down on the first two, therefore the balance problem seems less significant. However on the latest placement he can hardly put his foot down quickly to steady himself, since he is leaning so close to the ground. Would look better in a scene methinks, where he's ducking behind some cover about to grab his gun or somethin' - on it's own it seems a bit off i think, and i prefer the first.

My thoughts.

Brilliant work nevertheless, i love the design.
