Title: Splinter Cell GB de-make
Post by: JAS on November 10, 2007, 07:53:15 am
This was made way late for the de-make challenge.  I am posting it here for some C&C.

I'm pretty sure that this is my first time posting, so "Hello".

This is a de-make of Splinter Cell.  I'm pretty sure I stayed within the rules on this one.

Offtopic: Why cant I zoom in? Is it because JAS did not use the image tag?

Hi JAS
Very nice idea! but to make it some more intresting, give it a different ammount of 'eyes' and granades every time, and put him in another pose every screen (I dont think he slides to every level in that pose, I suppose there would be a walking animation if this was real, and he would be able to hide himself on several places  :))
More I dont have to say now :)
Succes with it!
Greets,
Lollige

I don't know what is up with it, but i'd suggest getting ImageZoom for firefox at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/139 (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/139)  :y:

I like it, although what's the deal with that giraffe neck ???

The zoom is now fixed and I totally didn't realize the giraffe neck...  I guess it's better for him to see around corners.  I'll have to fix that.  ::)

Note the darker variations in the tile set for the darker rooms that are easier to sneak around in.

Your sprites got 4 colors in it...

wouldn't it make more sense to do this as a topdown style view...

oh...

wait...

that was called metal gear solid wasn't it... silly me.
