Title: Bananaboy
Post by: potty on October 06, 2007, 04:03:51 pm
I'm making sprites for a character for a 2D fighting game. I have, like NO experience with animating.
As you'd guess, it's a banana.  :P

This would be his stance, but i find it so awkward (how do you spell that ). I don't know why, maybe it's his left leg..?
If you think some colors just don't fit in there (like his shoes and mouth), that's because i had to seperate the colors and... ah it's a long frustrating story, just don't ask.  ;D

Before you start on animation, work on the guy, to be honest, I'm no expert on animation myself, so someone whose an animation expert help me? Look up some stuff on the color theory and you might wanna get some reference on bananas(And fighting stances).

since his left leg movement is different, don't just copy paste right foot. maybe make his left foot lift or twist in some way to fit with leg movement. Should say I am no expert too.
Maybe his bananna bandanna should move a bit too. Also think about doing some punch and kick moves before perfecting the stance, in case u need to make arms longer or something.
