Hi, I've been going through a load of my old files recently and I've got shed loads of dpaint animator animations... (file format .anm) I wondered if anyone has or knows of any conversion utilities that convert from ANM's to FLC's or animated GIF's... or any other ideas as to how to access these old data files?
Cheers
PS. for some reason Jan Zimmerman never incorporated this format into Promotion - I'm sure he must have had a reason... I might email him and find out?
PPS. I don't really wanna spend cash on a tool neither, so open source or freeware would be ideal.

Perhaps ANM is still belongs to EA? I have a solution for you tho :) Get DPaint2a, which opens anm, then you can save the animations as sequence and load them back into promotion with load animation from single images.
