this was a really rushed piece, so i'm sure you guys can tell me a few things wrong with it

looks quite nice. nice contraste and the shape, wich was not much interesting on the line art (no offence, DJ) you kind of made it far mor interesting with the shading and details. the white outline looks nice, but since it underwatter, you could use that so simulate a little watter friction, or somehting like that. basically fade it as it goes down the screen.

just my thoughts. looks really nice.

Colors seem too warm for an underwater fighter. I'd maybe suggest neutralizing the reds a bit towards gray, and maybe put a minimal quantity of green in. Really awesome window detailing.

really cute. makes me want to do more shmups. good point about the color. I think you could enhance the underwater effect if you worked a bit more with the outlines - maybe use it to simulate current, or strengthen the effect of the bubbles that come out of the jets?
