Title: Rotating tank
Post by: Sohei on September 11, 2007, 09:28:23 am
I was so fond of Dodonpachi that decided to exercise in animation of cannons and tanks.
This is what i've got so far. I have a question. Is there a rule or method to make more accurate proportions to sides in different projections?
I think that this one below which is turned on 45 degrees is a bit smaller then it should be, isn't it?

With this sort of projection (http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/design/graphics/drawingformalrev3.shtml) your horizontal planes don't distort at all, meaning you can simply use circles as guides. All the vertical measurements will stay the same as well.

And I'm not even sure if yours is that off. I'd need to a full rotation.
