Title: Lil bird work in progress
Post by: yens on April 08, 2020, 05:13:37 pm
Hi everyone! This is my first post but I have been reading and enjoying this community for quite some time :)

I'm sharing a work in progress of a little bird that started as a tiny studio on pixel art and that's slowly evolving into a small animated character that I'll be using in a mini-game prototype.

I'd love to hear any sort of feedback on color usage, shape, and tips on how better animate organic things in pixel-art. I'm more of a designer than an artist so any tips even if they sound basic are more than welcome.

Thank you so much for your time!

Adorable!   :)   And welcome.

I can't add much, but I like the colors right two.

I like the colours, but whether the colour works depends to some extent on the context as well. What does the little bird's world look like?

I really like it, it's definitely got the 'cute' vibe going on! If you want help with animation, it might help us to know what you want it to do, and what you're having difficulty with.
