Title: I'm a beginner. Here is a lantern I made! How can I improve?

Here it is! I tried making it cracked since I like the atmosphere that comes with it!

Cool little sprite! You could do more to get a glowey feeling, and if the light is on, the crack will likely be light as opposed to dark! Perhaps like this:

Yes, it's often a good idea to have a reference image or several.

Can you find any images of lamps you'd like it to look like?

When you post on here, it's a good idea to use the "Insert Image" tool, just below the "bold" tool in the toolbar above the text editor.

Simply drag your image into Imgur, right click it, "copy image URL" (or whatever your browser calls it) then come here, click "Insert Image" and paste in your URL.

When you use this tool, you can post the original work at 1x pixel scale. When you click the image, it expands in size. This makes it easier for people to make edits and view it at different sizes.
