Title: female reaper

Its for the he-she thing at pixeljoint. I took a few liberties on the design (such as skin) to try and make it abit more feminine.I probably overdithered it abit too, and the feet are sucking.

I'm having trouble on the angle of the scythe. I was sort of going for an over-the-shoulder thing but I totally muffed it up. I figured I'd post here because you guys are awesome at C+C and the like.

don't mind the overall sketchiness of parts, I just don't know where to take it.

Should have the scythe point way more vertical than horizontal.
Make it sit like at a 45 degree angle.

Her face is a bit hard to read...

Maybe it's just a placeholder, but the handle on the scythe looks far too thin to support that blade. Could use a bit more heft :-*

Blade looks fine to me, although it's hard to tell how close/far it is behind the character. Again I think a thicker shaft might help, and perhaps a shadow on the blade's underside (the light purple bit) could help.

her right arm and hand is strange. the shading is improper on the cloth on the right arm.. (to the left for us eyeviewers).
legs are a tad too short. that's the wrong i could find with it other than what's already been written.
good work nevertheless! Keep us updated in progress!  :y:

That cloth is pretty sweet! You can make the scythe with almost the same angle you had initially if you lower her arm holding it, so that the blade behind her back goes up. You should still rotate it downward (just a bit) as you did in the second version.

That face totally needs a different color, contrasting with the whole purple theme. Also, i think some palette hue rotation on the purples would make it richer.
