Okay, the new edit (the lips this time) on the right spot:

Welcome back, Pixelation! Nice to see you're still going better and better! :D

Slightly overdone and not quite original, but well. . . I don't mind. . . (put it down to the fact that I rarely make so colourful pixels, hehe). 12 shades this time, though I think you can get the same effect with no more than 9. PROMOTION, some three evenings of pixel-pushing, just to become familiar with a more complicated palette. Thanks for the critique, Ar.

C&C or die! :)

Very nice. My only crits are, I think the lips are a little too fat and the eyes are too far apart. besides that it awsome.

Wow this is great. For crits I'd say that the lips appear a little asymmetrical on an otherwise symmetrical-looking face, the part just above the lips looks too sharp, there's perhaps too much highlight on the right eyelid. That's about all I can see at the moment, lovely work.

Thanks!

A little lips edit (this is the lighting which makes them a bit asymmetrical), plus a touch here and there. I haven't changed the eyes -- she would lose what I was searching for and what she already has. We can imagine that the rest of the face (just as the e.g. ears) is covered by the hair, or something.

Please, C&C; thank you!

you captured a very interesting intensity in the eyes, indeed. Yet, there's something strange just below the right eye (on the left), where you seems to have a "light reflection" below the pupil while she obviously used dark make up near that area ...

That produces an effect as if her eyes was a light source (which makes her even more mysterious), but i'd be curious to see what it'd look like with something "softer" in that area.

'Kay, so since there are no further comments, I'm putting it into the gallery: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/22218.htm (http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/22218.htm). Thanks!

Really looks quite nice but some stuff still looks off. Specially around the mouth area looks too sharp and chiseled for a woman.

Did an edit, tried to soften some stuff up and used this as reference since it looked very similar (http://www.visualpharm.com/wallpaper/angelina_jolie_wallpaper_1600x1200.jpg (http://www.visualpharm.com/wallpaper/angelina_jolie_wallpaper_1600x1200.jpg)).

Mine ----> Your's

Oh and this image reminds me a lot of Helm's piece

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Ah, yeah, you know. . . after staring at all those marvelous Helm pieces (there is another quite similar, the one with a girl) for so long a time, it's natural that you intuitively extract from it and adopt some of its ideas to those of yours -- in an inspirational sense. That's why I stated at the beginning that it's not a truly original piece. However, please don't look upon it as a poor copy of something done before.

I dig your edit, Del--, that's exactly what I was waiting for -- thanks a lot, I'm gonna work on it a little more (though you can still find the current piece in the PJ gallery).

Hehe, no particular Angelina Jolie thoughts during the work, but maybe? it was done from memory after all. :)

Cheers!
