The two legs in the front of it will become massive gun barrels later.

I don't really like the dithering on his back. You didn't really need to dither.

That should be hair and yes, you are right that`s realy bad -.-

Do you have an idea to create nice hair for its back?

I dont think it reads very well in its current state. I think you should try to define the volume better with shading before adding all those details.
About the hair, I agree with the following statement by feron from another thread:
