Title: Running Guy Animation
Post by: Darklord_xel on June 08, 2007, 01:09:46 pm
Hey, its been a long time since I was on Pixelation (like 3 or 4 years) and even longer since I animated anything. So, here's my attempt at trying to animate stuff for the first time in forever:

It was done in about 20 minutes in Paint using 9 colors and 5 frames. Originally it was made for a game that was only gonna use the Paint's basic 24 colors, but I'll probably never finish the project. So....yeah....Opinions?

His head is always on the exact same position.
Maybe you could fix that with a bit of vertical movement.

the leg movement isnt very clear. if think if you simplied the back leg's pixels, then made them daker, you would fix this. The worst culprit to me is that red stripe on the back leg, which  makes me think it's the front leg.

SO:
1)remove light pixels on back leg. You could leave some, but they should be darker in colour
2)tkae out red stripe or make it darker
