Title: My new website
Post by: Kazuya Mochu on June 06, 2007, 05:18:10 pm
Hello again everyone,

its been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time

I just wanted to show my new website. it has some pixelart you may know if you where back at the old pixelation and then pixelopolis

but theres also some new "old pixelart" that I clouldn't have shown before since it was secret projects.

in animation I also had some 3d animation loops, such as walk animations from some characters I do but they are under NDA's so... no show...

anyway, tell me what you think:

use the arrowkeys btw!

Ha! I love the site, both in concept and execution. Nice work on there, too. I really like the set of portraits with Phillip and company, and the iso japanese building. The animations are awesome, too.

One niggle: the site doesn't seem to load in Opera, which doesn't really make any sense since it's Flash. o_O Just thought I'd point that out.

Brilliant idea and execution, the "skip" key was an excellent inclusion;
I still preffer a more basic and sober, "just-show-me-the-gallery" kinda thing though, but its really unique.

Congrats, and great art in there too.

The first conceptart you have on there is awesome, you should add that batman pixel you did a while back that was great  ;D

maybe if you made some more interesting art in the enviroment that the developer is walking in it would make them more worith there while, plus it would be a presentation of art just by walking around, before even going to the galleries.

anyways its really interesting and quality work : D

Thank god I could press space bar! (no offense) I think it's not very clear what to do once you get to the actual pixel art. I didn't know what to do at first and just left the site. I decided to try again and by chance found out by pressing the arrow key. Great art though :)

I think the game idea is neat. (Now the sad thing is that I died many times before reaching the areas :P )
May of the pieces you have in your galleries bring memories.
And indeed it's been a long time since I saw you around (except that one time you "broke your silence), so hope you stay around for a bit longer.
Now, next move, "Marco, the videogame"  ;).

Dang. Quite disappointing as well since i've missed seeing you around and really wanted to see your sexy pixels again.  Where have you been, by the way?

Cool execution, though I think perhaps you should provide quick links to the sections, as it can be a little burdensome to 'play' to get to each section each time when you're just looking to see some art.
I remember that samurai guy you posted on pixelation :o

There's sort of a quick link: you can press spacebar to skip the room.

Nice site, cool stuff.  I remember a lot of that pixel art from the old Pixelation.  Good to see you around again.
