Title: fat guy with a blue bandana doing a backflip
Post by: piotrek255 on May 23, 2007, 12:42:22 pm
If you have flash plugin installed you can right-click on the animation and zoom it in to see the pixels more closely, the flash conversion messed up my pixels a bit... does anyone know what is the best program to compile multiple jpg or BMP images into an animating GIF file? thanks

Id use GIF movie gear, it can do both separate images and filmstrips, and has good framerate, optimization and palette controls.

the animation is a bit strange, im not sure what's going on with the arms tho.  Colors too, not the nicest :P

if this were in pixelart form id have more to suggest ^^

i know, i spent about 20 minutes making it... i dont have enough patience to sit more than that on one thing. i'll try to post something better next time, thanks for being honest :)

PS: what do you mean by pixelart form?

the flash app you are using flash distorts the size of it so that the individual pixels displayed are not necessarily the ones you placed, so we cannot see the artwork, only a slightly blurry estimation (im assuming that's why this got put in general discussion :P)
