How about some color?
Bored, so I colored:

Hmm, as an ingame sprite or something I think it would fare well, especially if colored like pep's but as pixel art i think it needs some sort of pizazz or something? Maybe make it a bit less asymmetrical by having him hold a sword or shield or something - unless your working with size limitations.

That looks nice, I also tried to color it.

could use some more contrast on the darker shade to lighten the lighter ones up a little, giving the armor a little more definition i think :D
-
Zach's avatar is a pretty good example of how using more contrast will enhance the metallic look of it. (but he's too modest to point it out himself ;) )
I also think you should add some more shading to the hands, and generally use your light source more consistently- the shading on the chestplate seems a little exeggerated and tends to lose some detail which existed in the original lineart.
I really like the lineart, cute :D

Thanks for the c+c, and I agree that I have to fix the lights/shades on the hands and the hole piece.

Thank you, so it would be like something like this?

I got a question, what does contrast (on colors) mean?
-
In layman's terms, more contrast = bigger difference between light and dark areas. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I tought it was that, so I do think it's right if we both tought the same.

Ok, I copied the AA and putted it on my version, (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v466/LttpCpp/knight_coloured5.png).
I also fixed so you can see the hands more.
